In Episode 7, we interview drummer and business owner, Jon McCracken. Hear about his many bands and business ventures as well as his brushes with legendary musicians. We also touch on the Hobbit, the San Diego Zoo, and which kinds of musicians are the most dangerous. Interesting fact, by the end of the episode, Steve was only moments away from vomiting.

Episode 6: Xmas Xtravaganza

In this holiday special, Ron Suazo sits in as we find some audio goodies from past episodes. We discuss the meaning of Christmas, why we do this podcast, and design our dream bands. Plus Ron gives us his top picks for LA bands of 2013. We would provide the list here, but we're late for a Xmas party, so you'll have to just be surprised. Need something to listen to while you clean up the wrapping paper?  Come on down to the Shady Time Station.

Episode 2: Joe Canal of Far*out

On our second episode, we interview Joe Canal of Far*out and have a blast.  We discuss dissonance, the masks we wear in relationships, racial perception, and the best position for thinking.  In fact, we get so off-topic that we missed our opportunity to get details about the history of the band.  OH WELL, I guess we'll have to have him back on another time!

Far*out songs played:
A Reminder
Bulldozer
Slow Dancing with No One
My Affair with a Thief

Note: "special treat" for audiophiles and scientists.  Occasionally you'll here glitchy blips on this podcast, which are the result of having my cellphone too close to the microphones.  I guess the electromagnetic waves from the cellular signals would affect the recording equipment.  Isn't that neat?  Of course it isn't and don't worry, we won't make that mistake again.
